When they receive a distress call from the show's animators and artists, the Titans must tone down their actions and avoid big adventures.
Plot[]
Ah, yes, at the tower, the Titans prepare for the Jump City Street Fair and they can't wait for the big stuff happening there. However, Robin's cell rings as they get a call from the TTG crew, and the other Titans get confused as they don't know what animators are. Robin explains what animators are, Beast Boy thinks they're nerds. But to do so, Robin warns them that they're took over by an Aggressive Schedule, which could destroy the entire show.
The other Titans get worried, so the crew tells them to stop lip sync. Beast Boy suddenly mistook the word "stink" as they make fun of Robin's lips for being stinky. He tells them it's sync they're telling; Raven thinks it's creepy when they do that, so Robin forces them to censor their mouths with censor bars. The Titans think they could go to the street fair, but the crew forces them to stick to the Tower so they won't draw any new locations.
So they state to watch TV, but the remote doesn't work because animating a show in a show takes a lot of work. But as the other Titans could leave, The TTG crew tells them they're not allowed to walk. Raven suddenly magically makes them fly everywhere, Robin thinks it's amazing and thinks he finally has powers (though still not), and he suddenly gets electrified by the light. Starfire states to get some snacks as Robin crashes into the TV.
As they enter the kitchen, their food strangely disappears when Raven opens the fridge. It's because they need to take time to animate food, then Robin tells them to use their imagination by "eating air". Everyone sarcastically does it until they get tired of it. Robin asks everyone if it's great, and Starfire doesn't think it's great. They then rip off the censor bars as Raven decapitates them.
This is another episode where the fourth wall is broken for the whole episode. In this case, the Titans receive messages from the animators of this series and also get offscreen to destroy the Aggressive Schedule.
Continuity[]
Raven is seen unhooded for the 131st time in the series.
Starfire says (and furiously sings) "Shamma Lamma Mu Mu" from "Uncle Jokes".
This is the second episode to show a "next episode" preview, though it's another false one.
References[]
When Robin describes animators, on the top right corner of the TV Screen, it says "4/23/2013". This is a reference to the date Teen Titans Go! premiered on Cartoon Network.
Drawings of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck from Looney Tunes are shown when Robin is describing the historically-inclined animator.
The Wilhelm Scream (particularly the sixth scream) can be heard as the Titans are fighting the Agressive Schedule off-screen.
The Aggressive Schedule performs a Hadouken (an iconic move from the Street Fighter games) on Cyborg as he dismembers him.
Errors[]
Starfire complains about floating instead of being able to walk, even though she usually flies instead of walks anyway.
The other Titans don't know about the animators, despite the fact that they just met them in The Self-Indulgent 200th Episode Spectacular!, so it's likely possible that they forgot who they are because of their lack of intelligence.
Running Gags[]
The Titans breaking the fourth wall by adjusting things to save their budget.
Starfire saying "Anima-tours".
