- Beast Boy: (serving breakfast) Who's ready for some vegan pancakes, yo? Just like my old grandma used to make. (a picture showcases Beast Boy's live-action grandma, this makes Robin suddenly feel down on himself as the background turns blue)
- Robin: I wish I knew my grandma. (he then cries quietly but he gets slapped by Cyborg)
- Cyborg: C'mon. man! You're crying all over our pancakes! (later that day, everyone is enjoying a nice day out near the pool as Cyborg gets ready to dive) As my great uncle always says "Scabadaboosh!" (he dives in splashing water all over the titans. Once again, Robin feels down as the background turns blue)
- Robin: I wish I knew my great uncle. (he is loudly whimpering until Raven slaps him back to reality)
- Raven: Quiet, Robin.
- Beast Boy: Youse ruining our pool shenanigans with your feelings.
- (sometime later, the titans are watching a slug on TV)
- Starfire: Oh, that slug reminds me of my third cousin twice removed, Splen Glorbton. (a picture showcases Starfire's aforementioned live-action cousin)
- Robin: (depressed than before) I wish I knew my third cousin twice removed!! (he then starts bawling his eyes out very loudly but he gets interrupted by Raven slapping him)
- Raven: Knock it off!
- Cyborg: (slaps Robin) Dude, what's wrong with you?
- Beast Boy: (slaps Robin) Why you so sad?
- Robin: I'm just upset because you all know so much about your families and I don't know anything about mine.
- Beast Boy: Isn't Batman your daddy? (we cut to a picture of Batman with a baby Robin strapped around his chest)
- Robin: No, he just raised me. I want to know where I come from. But my parents aren't around to tell me.
- Cyborg: Look, if it will make you feel better, we'll stop bringing up our relatives, okay?
- Robin: Thank you, Cyborg.
