Benjamin Franklin was one of the founding fathers of the U.S.A, the discoverer of electricity, an outstanding inventor, and most recently a ghastly enemy of Robin summoned from a book.
History[]
Years after his exploits in independence for America, Benjamin Franklin was brought back from the dead by an evil spell book hidden by Raven. The eager yet ignorant Teen Titans foolishly unearthed it, causing villainous spirits, among them Franklin, to spawn from their books. Benjamin came from The Biography of Benjamin Franklin, the book that Robin was caught up in, so he in turn began to haunt the hero, flying around and zapping him with lightning.
Robin only managed to beat the historical figure by spitting out uninteresting facts about his life. The sheer boringness sucked Ben back into the book, along with the other dangerous characters.
Physical Appearance[]
Wearing mid-late 1700s clothes, Benjamin is dressed like an old-Englishman. His yellow vest and sea blue coat are tight around his chunky body, as well as his navy blue trousers. Benjamin Franklin's feet are covered in long white stockings and black buckled shoes. A white, fluffy handkerchief is tucked into his white shirt, something Old South noblemen wore back then. Upon his eyes are his own invention, a pair of bifocals, and he has long, deteriorating gray hair, possibly a mere wig. For transportation, the founding father uses a white, red-striped kite strung around his midsection with a gnarly rope. A golden key is strung onto the tail of the glider, so as to absorb electrical pulses.
Powers and abilities[]
- Electric Shock: Benjamin Franklin can discharge blasts of electricity at his adversaries, made possible by energy harnessed from the key-kite contraption attached to him.
- Flight: A kite strung around his waste allows Ben to glide at low altitudes.

Trivia[]
- It's rare to fight a historical figure, but Robin in fact fought two, Franklin being the first and George Washington in "Money Grandma" being the second.
