Theodore Stephen "Ted" Kord was the second person to become the Blue Beetle. Unlike his predecessor, Ted didn't use a scarab but instead used his athleticism, fighting skills and technological genius to fight crime.
History[]
He appears as one of the attendees at the showing of "Robin: The Movie", and is one of the superheroes that got controlled by Slade. He later appears numerous other times in various episodes, often seen with Booster Gold.
The only time he speaks is in Season 8 episode Elasti-Bot, but he is yet to have a major appearance in the show.

Trivia[]
- Storyboard artist Joshua Weisbrod revealed that Blue Beetle and Booster Gold are dating on the show.[1]
- Blue Beetle made his speaking debut in "Elasti-Bot" by telling the Doom Patrol (minus Elasti-Girl) he was alright after they accideentally ran him over with their car, although his voice actor was uncredited before being revealed to be Jess Harnell.
