Not to be confused with Brian (character) or the Season 2 episode Brian.

Brian is a character that appears in the Season 8 episode, "The Brain of the Family". He is The Brain's younger brother.

Appearance[]

Brian is just like his older brother, except he's shorter, and has a green mouth that lights up when he talks.

Personality[]

Brian is a recklessly carefree individual, who is prone to destruction in his wake. However, he's deep down a caring person who wants to give his brother and family the best interest, and he's actually better when it's about creating things like knitting.

History[]

Brian previously lived in Metropolis, where he was scorned and mocked by other superheroes, despite his efforts to become an intimidating villain.

He then decided to visit his big brother The Brain, but he kept getting onto Mallah's nerves for being so impulsive, ranging from bringing in a dangerous mutated animal, eating all the food, "borrowing" Mallah's money for a motorcycle he couldn't even properly drive, to killing Mallah's beloved rose bush. The Brain tried convincing him to leave, but after Brian admitted lying about mocking Superman and instead was being used as a trash can for newspapers, the Brain gave him one chance to prepare the scheme-reveal party of the super-suit for the Henchmen. However, Brian, still unable to drive the motorcycle, accidentally wrecked the party he prepared, so he ended up getting evicted.

Unrelenting, Brian took the super-suit and started destroying Jump City, although he wasn't even able to control it. Wanting to protect Brian's pride, the Brain and Mallah told the Titans to let Brian win under the condition of Mallah's croissants. Unfortunately, the truth came out after Beast Boy and Cyborg admitted only faking defeat for croissants, which infuriated Brian and he argued with Mallah and the Brain, until they all realized the Henchmen were losing control of the motorcycle.

Having no choice, Mallah and the Brain had to team up with Brian in order to save the Henchmen. During the car chase, Brian managed to knit an entire playground, which saved the Henchmen who were going to fall into a construction pit. The Brain finally realized what Brian is proficient at, and Mallah finally changed his mind about Brian.

In the end, Brian was accepted by both the Brain and Mallah, and he even knitted a replacement rose bush for Mallah by using the Titans as substitute flowers.
