The Titans give Starfire a bucket list of activities to accomplish.
Plot[]
It's a calm, quiet day at Titans Tower, but Robin shatters the silence when he smashes through the window, wrestling a ravenous alligator. The shirtless maniac eventually overcomes the gator and throws him from the Tower—a task now completed on his bucket list. Starfire is delighted at the idea of a bucket list, dreaming to collect all types of differently-filled buckets. Of course, that's not exactly what Robin's talking about; he explains that a bucket list is a set of goals that someone hopes to accomplish before they die. All the other Titans have them, thinking that completing the list is the ultimate fulfillment in life. The team, mocking Starfire's belief that friendly relationships give life meaning, download a random bucket list for her off the internet. None of the tasks appeal to Star, but the Titans are already set on helping her...
For the first challenge, the team accompanies Starfire to climb an enormous, freezing mountain. As they cross a bridge, Beast Boy falls through the floor, dangling from just a rope. Starfire wishes to abandon the ascent to save their friend, but the Titans insist that the bucket list is more important. After Robin cuts Beast Boy loose, the remaining climbers push on to the summit. Starfire plants a flag—first task completed!
Next is stand-up comedy. Despite Starfire's nervousness, Cyborg hands her a set of cards and pushes her on stage. The performance is extremely awkward; Star tells jokes with wooden delivery and almost no enthusiasm. The audience returns her lack of energy with no laughter, but at least Cyborg finds her Family Matters joke funny.
With stand-up checked off the list, the Titans will now have Starfire "make a difference in a child's life." Raven brings forth a baby from one of her portals, and Star is actually pretty enthusiastic about this one. However, instead of doing normal mom stuff, the Titans have all sorts of demanding, crazy activities planned for the baby. A fight ensues around the child, and so Starfire has to rescue her, throwing the baby onto a bus bound for Metropolis. Luckily for Starfire, that counts as "making a difference," and so she accomplishes another bucket list challenge. Still, Starfire hasn't found true meaning in any of these tasks. But they're only just beginning...
60 YEARS LATER...
After countless activities like zip-lining, lava surfing, and a celebrity road trip (to name just a few), the now old and withered Titans cheer Starfire on with her last challenge: knitting a scarf. She finishes, and the list is complete—yet her emptiness still remains. Suddenly, a blinding purple flash reveals the Bucket Lord... bringer of bucket kicking and apparently the stealer of Beast Boy's old wartime girl! Now that Starfire has accomplished the list, it's time for her to literally kick the Bucket Lord, and thus die. But Starfire, having yet to reach true fulfillment, is unwilling. The talking bucket threatens to kick her instead, and so the Titans rush (well, shuffle) to their friend's aid. Unfortunately, the weak old heroes collapse before him. As the Bucket Lord raises his foot, Starfire calls him "friend," something he's never had before. Touched by her kindness, the Bucket Lord shows mercy, now understanding that friendship is the true meaning of life. However, Beast Boy isn't quite past the Bucket Lord stealing his old girlfriend, and so he gives the talking bucket a nice big kick.
The whole episode is similar to "Record Book", since both revolve around Starfire trying to complete something in her life, causing time to skip forward 60 years. However, the roles are reversed.
After Starfire makes a difference in a child's life, it says the next item on her list is skydiving, but then the list says she will ride bulls when it's next on screen.
Starfire wouldn't be able to survive after she falls into the hot lava.
