"DC" is the 24th episode of the seventh season of Teen Titans Go!, and the 336th overall episode of the series.
Summary[]
It's Wonder Woman's 80th birthday, so the Titans head to DC Headquarters for the party!
Plot[]
The Teen Titans are relaxing when suddenly Robin comes in and reveals that they are all invited to celebrate Wonder Woman's 80th anniversary at DC headquarters, much to their enthusiasm. Heading to the building via Raven's teleportation ability, they find it packed with many other superheroes, who are exploring the many exhibits inside. Batman, who is also there, is then seen at a Joker exhibit in which he writes a message via marker that says "Batman was here" while he takes a selfie of himself. The Teen Titans are then welcomed by Detective Chimp and Wonder Woman to which Cyborg immediately congratulates the latter, but Robin orders him to say it loudly, reminding him that Wonder Woman is turning 80.
Realizing his mistake, Cyborg corrects himself and then restates his congratulations in a much louder tone to the Amazon superhero, which causes her to be knocked back, much to the displeasure of Detective Chimp, who tells them that even though she is 80 doesn't mean that she is old. Heading to a podium, the latter, from his microphone, announces to all the superheroes present that as they are celebrating Wonder Woman's anniversary, they'll be doing a special 80th anniversary reissue in her honor. Detective Chimp then further announces that they'll also be unveiling the Wonder Woman conference room in which Wonder Woman herself is given the honor of cutting the ribbon while the Teen Titans and the other superheroes applaude.
As the celebration begins, Robin asks Detective Chimp if they can also have something named after them, in which the other Titans come up with suggestions of their own, but Detective Chimp tells them that it is only reserved for special events. When Raven complains that they didn't get anything for their 49th anniversary, the chimpanzee detective reminds her that not everyone gets to have their own namesake in the DC building. Cyborg begins complaining that all DC superheroes get to have a namesake in which the Teen Titans give examples such as the Superman Writers Room, the Batman Art Department, the Aquaman Water Cooler and even the Swamp Thing Office Plant.
In response, Detective Chimp reveals that namesakes are only given to A-list superheroes who have made comic issues that their fans had written to love. When Cyborg asks him if the Teen Titans are B-list heroes, the chimpanzee tells him that they are D-list heroes, which is at the very bottom. When Robin suggested that they be put in charge of the 80th anniversary issue in an attempt for the Teen Titans to be put on top of the list, Detective Chimp tells them that he had already assigned it to some people with creative minds, in which they are revealed to be Batman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Superman. Knowing that they would just goof off, Cyborg advises that they should be unassigned but Detective Chimp refuses, stating that he must ensure that the comic issue would be a huge success before telling the Teen Titans to enjoy the party.
After he left, the Teen Titans decide to make their own comic issue for the anniversary. After a lot of hard work, their comic is finished. They then proceeded to invite Wonder Woman and some superheroes, such as Aquaman, into the Wonder Woman conference room so that they can present their work. Detective Chimp then suddenly comes in looking really worried. When he asks the Teen Titans on where Superman, Batman, and The Flash are, Robin denies on where they are and assume that they are slacking off somewhere. This proves to be true as the aforementioned superheroes are revealed to be playing cards inside Swamp Thing's office plant instead of working on the comic issue. After Detective Chimp reveals the deadline for the Wonder Woman 80th anniversary issue, Cyborg assures that he and the Teen Titan had taken care of it and shows him the comic they made. Detective Chimp is surprised that they did the issue and Beast Boy states that they did it to prove themselves worthy of being A-List heroes and getting a namesake they deserved.
The Titans then present their comic via projector, which features Wonder Woman as an actual 80-year-old woman instead of what usually features her in other DC comics. During the presentation, most of the Teen Titans each plays a specific role; Cyborg serves as the narrator of the comic issue, Raven recites old Wonder Woman's lines while Robin does the lines of Steve Trevor. As for Beast Boy, he monologues the main antagonist of the comic issue, The Pharmacist. Unfortunately, when the Teen Titans finishes presenting their comic, Wonder Woman, who is offended by how she is portrayed, proceeds to disable the projector with her sword while the superheroes present in the conference room, along with Detective Chimp, express displeasure and disgust by what the Teen Titans had made.
Detective Chimp proceeds to throw another banana at the screen while letting out an angry screech. He tells the Teen Titans of his opinion, saying that it is "the worst comic ever". He continues by saying that he can't release it and begins to fear that if they can't find a suitable replacement for the issue, then they would get crushed by The Competition! Just then, two giant red robot hands smash through the conference room and grab most of the superheroes in the room, including Wonder Woman. The giant hands are revealed to be from a red robot building with a sign in the middle saying "The Competition". When a shocked Raven asks Detective Chimp on what the building is, the chimpanzee, who is so terrified at the sight of it, reveals that it's The Competition itself; who is using all superpowers of Marvel teams and their superheroes like the Avengers, Fantastic 4, Eternals, the Guardians of the Galaxy, X-Men and more from Marvel Comics!

Continuity[]
- Wonder Woman’s birthday is celebrated again in the series (after "Justice League's Next Top Talent Idol Star: Second Greatest Team Edition").
- Starfire's businesswoman suit from "Business Ethics Wink Wink" and "Villains in a Van Getting Gelato" is shown during Starfire's fantasy, although most of it is obscured.
References[]
- The episode's title is the same name of the actual company.
- It's also interesting because DC actually co-produced Teen Titans Go!.
- Though never explicitly stated by name, “The Competition” is supposed be DC’s rival company, Marvel.
- The logo on the building looks very similar to Marvel’s, not to mention the red color scheme as opposed to DC's blue color scheme.
- Some of the building’s attacks are a reference to some of Marvel's superheroes, such as:
- A hammer Mjölnir, similar to Thor and The Mighty Thor (Jane Foster).
- A shield, much like Captain America (Steve Rogers), Captain America (Sam Wilson), U.S. Agent, Red Guardian and Captain Carter.
- Adamantium Claws, similar to Wolverine and X-23.
- Shooting webs, like Spider-Man (Tom Holland), Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire), Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield), Venom and Carnage.
- The ability to surround itself with fire, like the Human Torch (Jim Hammond and Toro of the Invaders, Johnny Storm of the Fantastic 4).
- The jet boots to fly like Iron Man, War Machine, Rescue and Ultron.
- The Incredible Hulk and Red Hulk's super-strength.
- Once The Competition is defeated, the lights on the logo dim out, only leaving the “M” in “Competition” lit, another subtle hint that it is indeed supposed to be Marvel.
- The Golden-winged armor that Wonder Woman had worn during her battle with The Competition closely resembles the Amazonian armor that she also wore in the DC film Wonder Woman 1984.
- When the Competition is fighting against DC, two buildings in the background vaguely reference the comic companies Dark Horse and Image Comics, respectively.
- The way Cyborg says "A half hour later..." is reminiscent of SpongeBob SquarePants's French Narrator narrating the time cards.
