Electron is a subatomic rapping sensation of science. He attracts a positive reaction from the Titans when he performs Thru a Double Slit.
So far, he's only made one electronic appearance, Season 5's "Quantum Fun".
History[]
Trying to get the Titans to appreciate quantum physics, Robin brought the team up to the Tower roof... he had a special, microscopic surprise for them, a hip hop performance by Electron!
While this rapper may not be the biggest, and while the subject matter wasn't the most exciting, Electron still managed to make a song about the Double-slit experiment as cool as could be. In three verses, he taught the Titans about the dual wave/particle nature of electrons.[1] Accompanied by this rap lecture was a decent music video complete with dancing scientists, outrageous poses, and stuff like that... Once Thru a Double Slit wrapped up, it's unknown what happened to Electron. Only time will tell.
Physical Appearance[]
Fortunately for Electron, he's a delocalized electron, meaning he's free to roam and rap wherever he wants without dragging along a proton.[2] His purple high-tops somehow follow him around without the guidance of legs, and arms extend from his otherwise spherical blue body. A purple cap with a blue "e" on it levitates above Electron's head, on backwards, which ups the "cool" factor. His face takes up his entire tiny particle body, and he's got a distinctively big and centered front tooth.

Trivia[]
- A few times in the song, Electron is shot out of a machine mega fast and smashes into a wall. Although reduced to a blue smear, he somehow survives to keep rapping. Necromancy?
- Some scenes during the music video depict multiple Electrons, all exactly the same in appearance. It's unclear whether this is just some sorta stage effect, or if there's actually other particles who walk, talk, and act like him.
- Considering that we see Electron splatter onto a wall several times during the song, plus the fact that there's an immense amount of electrons out there, it's very possible that he's not the only rapping subatomic particle.
- The Titans can somehow make out his appearance under a microscope, even though an electron is way too small for that to work.[3]
