Gridnock the Skull Crusher is a ferocious stone creature used by Tamaranians to execute criminals and prisoners. He meets his end when he tries to swallow the Teen Titans. "Tamaranian Vacation" is so far the only Teen Titans Go! episode he appears in.
History[]
After Robin murdered Starfire's new alien husband out of jealousy, all five of the Titans were sentenced to death in the Tamaranian Arena. It was here in the huge coliseum that they met Gridnock the Skull Crusher, a gigantic rocky beast. He had made a name for himself by killing every single prisoner that faced him- there were skeletons of past victims sprawled across the sandy floor. Robin tries to rally the Titans into defeating him, but Gridnock simply put his jaws around the group and closed his mouth.
Inside of Gridnock's acid-filled belly, the Titans figured they might as well make the best of the situation, like Starfire. Once they start a tickle fight, Cyborg went ballistic with laughter, slamming into the sides of Gridnock's stomach.
Outside, Gridnock's face contorted from the slamming inside of him, and after a few blows, he crumbled to the ground and was reduced to a pile of boulders.
Characteristics[]
Towering above his opponents, Gridnock is completely composed of orange stone. He seems to e a little overweight from all the people he consumes. Protruding out from his knees and arms are small little rocks. Gridnock has a large crack in his right torso, and five stony spines are at the center of his back. His lower jaw is very huge and has chunks of rock stuck inside of it. Gridnock also has a split on his left lip, and large, angry eyebrows. The only part of him that isn't stone or orange in color is his lime green eyes, with dark circles around them.
