Logline[]

The Titans' Halloween party is interrupted by the Hive Five robbing a candy factory.[1]

Synopsis[]

On Halloween night, the Titans are setting up decorations around Titans Tower. Robin, dressed as a werewolf, orders Cyborg, as a vampire, to carve a pumpkin. He tells Beast Boy, who is a pumpkin, to spin some spooky spider webs and Beast Boy turns into a spider and makes some webs. Robin runs to Starfire, dressed a a cat and tells her to get apples for bobbing. She gets a bag of apples and puts them in a wooden container, but says she couldn't find "the bob". Finally, Robin tells Raven, dressed as a witch, to get some skeletons and she conjures some on the couch. Robin asks if they were from her "closet", but she says that they were from dead people. Robin tries to start the celebration with a song called "Scary Figure Dance". However, the crime alert blares, upsetting Raven as they have to fight crime on Halloween. Robin says they have to as the H.I.V.E. Five is attempting to blow up the Jump City Candy Factory, shocking the Titans.

The H.I.V.E. exit the Jump City Candy Factory with boxes of candy and Gizmo prepares to destroy the factory with a laser as they make a trick or treat plan. Robin announces the Titans' arrival by making a trick or treat pun, but Gizmo tells them that they already made one. Raven makes another pun and Jinx tells them to stop as they've already made the pun. Robin tells them they can have the pun, but justice will be theirs as they won't let them blow up the candy factory which Gizmo does. The Titans become upset and Robin declares that the Titans will ruin the H.I.V.E.'s Halloween. Gizmo tells the Titans that they don't have a ghost of a chance, sparking an idea in Robin. He tells the Titans to get closer and are vaporized by the laser. The H.I.V.E. celebrate their victory and Gizmo suggests returning to H.I.V.E. Tower to enjoy the rest of their Halloween.

A storm gathers around the tower while the H.I.V.E., dressed in costumes, decorate the living room. The lights suddenly begin to flicker when a trident pokes Gizmo's butt, Mammoth's cup spills on Jinx and the TV begins changing channels. Gizmo tries to give a rational explanation, but the doors begin to slam, static is shown on the TV and the lights flicker. He shouts that H.I.V.E. Tower is haunted and they run off, losing their costumes in the process. See-More suggests calling guys who bust ghosts, but Jinx tells them that the only way to get rid of ghosts is to find out what they want by performing a seance. Jinx tells the H.I.V.E. to join hands and remain quiet, but starts yelling at the ghosts to show themselves. After a flash of light, the ghosts unveil themselves as the ghosts of the Teen Titans. Mammoth tries attacking the Titans, but falls on the floor. The Titans speak by drawing out the letters and Gizmo asks for the reason. Starfire says their ghostly tones is how ghosts talk, but Gizmo says it's annoying which Raven says they know. Jinx tells them to stop, but Robin says no in the ghostly tone. See-More begs and Beast Boy seemingly agrees, but when Billy Numerous thanks them, Cyborg says they were only kidding. Jinx wants to know what they want and Robin says they want to enjoy their Halloween by ruining the H.I.V.E.'s as scary ghosts. Gizmo questions their plan and Robin says it was a mistake in retrospect. Mammoth tells them they aren't scary and the Titans make actual scary faces, causing the H.I.V.E. to scream and run off as the Titans laugh.

Jinx runs into the elevator to hide, but Robin joins her and tells her she's going to show her the true meaning of fear: an awkward elevator ride. Billy Numerous and Gizmo walk down a hallway when they spot Cyborg and Beast Boy entering a room. They open the door and are attacked by them, ending up covered in slime. Meanwhile, Jinx and Robin continue to ride the elevator with Jinx disgusted by Robin's coffee breath. Mammoth and See-More sit on the couch when Raven and Starfire emerge and possess them. Beast Boy and Cyborg continue to slime Billy Numerous and Gizmo as Robin makes eye contact with Jinx. Jinx presses the stop button and runs off as Robin laughs. The H.I.V.E. gather in the living room as the Titans haunt them. Gizmo says he has a way to get rid of the Titans, but that the H.I.V.E. won't like it. See-More urges him to do it and he calls 911.

The Titans wake up in a hospital room with the H.I.V.E. where Gizmo tells them that the doctors returned their ghosts to their bodies. Starfire, speaking in the ghost tone, says that they're living and Beast Boy, in the ghost tone, says that they shouldn't be speaking like ghosts any more. Robin becomes upset, but says that they ruined the H.I.V.E.'s Halloween. Jinx, however, claims that while the Titans were annoying, their Halloween was fun as they had an actual haunted house. Cyborg agrees that it was fun as they were ghosts, shocking Raven as they all had fun. Robin decides there is only one thing left to do and the Titans and H.I.V.E. dance to the "Scary Figure Dance".
