"Intro" is the 22nd episode of the eighth season of Teen Titans Go!, and the 387th overall episode of the series.
Summary[]
Control Freak leads the Titans on a chase through various cartoon intro sequences.
Plot[]
The episode starts by showing the usual entry of the show, but the Titans break the fourth wall by noticing it is a bit off as the intro plays for a second time, but they continue with the script.
During the dance section of the intro, the Titans see Control Freak. His plan is to make the intro for the show play on loop so that the show can never begin ever again. Because of this, the Titans chase after him as their intro ends when they go through a portal.
When the Titans go out of the portal, they find they are now in the intro for The Flintstones. Then they see Control Freak get away, as they take Fred Flintstone’s car and chase after him. But because of the way cars work in The Flintstones, the Titans have tired legs from driving the car, so Raven transforms into Lady Legasus to chase after Control Freak.
They find him in a cinema and nearly catch up to him, but he escapes by creating a portal with his remote control and the Titans continue chasing after him.
Through the next portal, the Titans are now in the intro for The Jetsons, as they take the Jetson family’s car to chase after Control Freak.
During this, Cyborg presses buttons and accidentally turns the car into a bunch of items such as a suitcase and a toilet, then they crash into a building, but they manage to reach Control Freak. The Titans’ plan is to spawn an escape pod with Robin to block Control Freak’s view, which works, as he and the Titans go through yet another portal.
This time, the portal transports everyone to the intro for Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!. Robin tells the other Titans this place is booby trapped and them not to touch anything. The Titans run down a hallway and finds the Scooby-Doo and the gang and Robin asks them if they have seen Control Freak. While a robot named Charlie chases after Scooby-Doo and the gang along with the Titans, Raven says she thought there aren't any real villains in Scooby-Doo, and Charlie the robot turns out to be Control Freak in disguise.
The Titans are then transported to the intro for Batman: The Animated Series. The Titans are amazed by how dark and gritty the show’s version of Gotham City looks, but they are in the explosion at the start of the intro, as Control Freak gets away.
Raven calls Batman to help fight him, as they chase Control Freak all the way up to the building. They manage to corner him, and Robin believes they didn’t need help from Batman, but as soon as he says that, Batman appears to fight Control Freak.
Control Freak is amazed to see Batman, and he is happy when Batman beats him up just like the goon in the original intro. The Titans thank Batman for helping, but they point out Robin didn’t need help, which Robin tries to deny. But Batman doesn’t say anything during it, he just glares menacingly, like he does in the actual intro. During this, Control Freak gets away and the Titans go through yet another portal, as Batman poses the same way he does at the end of his intro.
In the portal, the Titans are transported to the Titans Tower from the original 2003 Teen Titans series. When they see the Tower, they notice how much nicer and spacious it is compared to their Tower. However, Control Freak noticed that they shouldn’t be there because it’s where the original Titans live, but they are teleported away by Raven. The episode ends with the Titans doing their own version of the original show’s intro.

- In the sequence taking place in Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! opening sequence, The New Scooby-Doo Movies theme song replaces the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? song.
- The transitions to The Flintstones, The Jetsons, and Scooby Doo, Where Are You! not only is coincidentally the chronological order of the year releases of the shows (1960 - The Flintstones, 1962 - The Jetsons, and 1969 - Scooby Doo, Where Are You!), but references that all of them were all created by Hanna-Barbera respectively.

- This is the fourth time the original Teen Titans theme song is heard. The previous ones were "Artful Dodgers", "The Mask", "The Fourth Wall".
References[]
- The premise of this episode is similar to that of the original Teen Titans episode, "Episode 257-494", where the Titans chase Control Freak around many different TV shows and movies.

Errors[]
- When the Titans chase Control Freak in The Flintstones intro, it shows Starfire's boot is somehow broken, to which she has blisters on her foot. In another shot, her boot is somehow fixed.
- Raven's assumption that there are no real monsters in the Scooby-Doo franchise is incorrect. The gang have encountered real monsters multiple times in the series. In fact, the very monster that Control Freak dresses as is, in fact, the first real monster of the franchise.
- Raven becomes Lady Legasus at one point during The Flintstones chase. But when they go into the drive-in theater, she's back to her normal persona.
- The Original Teen Titans seem to not recognize their Go! counterparts despite meeting in Teen Titans Go! vs Teen Titans, but it is possible this episode takes place before those events.
- Despite being in a relationship with Jinx, Cyborg flirts with Rosie the Robot.
Running Gags[]
