Le Chez Romantique is a steakhouse restaurant located near Jump City.
History[]
During a fake stakeout he created to get a kiss from Starfire in "I See You", Robin took Starfire to Le Chez Romantique, claiming that the steakhouse was a perfect place to perform a stakeout and for make-outs. Starfire, having not heard him, asked if they were violating rule three of a stakeout: concealment. Robin assured her that they were hiding in plain sight and claimed that he understood that she wanted to be alone with him. Starfire agreed, but excused herself to "put on her face." Robin, excited about the rising chance of getting a kiss, was disturbed when she returned in a mask of an old man and claimed to be named Jeff. She claimed that she had donned the disguise to conceal herself and spotted a crystal which she believed was linked to criminal activity. Starfire took Robin away from the restaurant to discover more clues, much to his disappointment.
Sometime later in "Rocks and Water", the Teen Titans, Aqualad, and Terra chose to have a triple date at the restaurant in order to celebrate their happiness and being in love. Robin complimented the restaurant's romantic atmosphere, but Starfire took him to join Cyborg at a booth, leaving Beast Boy and Raven with their exes. An awkward moment ensued where Beast Boy and Raven complimented each other to make Aqualad and Terra jealous, but instead made them confused and embarrassed. Raven ordered calamari for the table, knowing that Terra would eat it and upset Aqualad. Aqualad recognized one of the squids as the one who raised him and lamented his death. Beast Boy and Raven were pleased by his reaction, but Aqualad and Terra easily made up after she apologized and said that he was a good man. Aqualad thank the two for dinner and took Terra away from the restaurant to make out, unknowingly followed by Raven and Beast Boy. At the booth, Robin and Starfire began eating from opposite sides of a large plate of spaghetti that Robin ordered in his attempt to get a kiss from her. However, Cyborg, who had decided to become a third wheel and ruin romantic moments, began eating from the middle of the strand and kissed Robin, much to his disgust. Cyborg celebrated his interruption and began dancing as Starfire smiled and Robin fumed at him.
In "Hand Zombie", Starfire brings Robin's Hand Zombie with her to have a dinner date with her. When the hand tries to eat her brain, Robin steps in to rescue her.
