The Magical Learnin' Van is a vehicle that the Titans take on Beast Boy's educational field trip. So far, Season 4's "Permanent Record" has been the only appearance of the van.

History

When Beast Boy took over the class that Robin was teaching, he brought the Teen Titans on a field trip throughout outer space using this "Magical Learnin' Van" that he summoned from nowhere. Robin pointed out that science doesn't include magic, but after being threatened by a check mark, the group headed into the van.

The van crashed through the Titans Tower and flew up into outer space, where Beast Boy explained to Raven, Starfire, Cyborg, and Robin why the sky is blue, orange and red. After a terrible science lesson, the Titans head back into the van and return to class.

Description

The Teen Titans admire the view of the universe, brought to them by the generosity of the Magical Learnin' Van.

Actually, the Magical Learnin' Van looks a lot more like a bus then a van. Almost the entire vehicle is painted shades of pink, and the bus is only a couple seats long. The windows are also tinted pink, and three humongous booster engines line the back so that it can propel into space. The tires are baby blue, and the top of the van reads "Magical Learnin' Van." The bus seems to actually be alive, as the yellow grille makes up its mouth, and the headlights are actually its eyes.

The interior is a light tan color, and their are exactly four two-person seats in the back of the van that are shaded blue. Beast Boy sits at the high tech control panel up front.

• The Magical Learnin' Van is a reference to the Magic School Bus from the titular educational franchise by Scholastic.
• The episode it appears in aired in 2017, the same year The Magic School Bus Rides Again released.
• "Mr. B" is a reference to Ms. Valerie Frizzle, and later, during the release of the new Magic School Bus show, her sister, Ms. Fiona Frizzle. Beast Boy shares some characteristics with Fiona Frizzle.
  • Technically, since the van has features and characteristics of life, it is considered living.
