Robot Man is a member of the Doom Patrol and Beast Boy's adoptive older brother.
Physical Appearance[]
He is a yellow robot, with black and white eyes, He wears purple fingerless gloves, pink and white dolphin shorts, and purple boots.
Personality[]
Robot Man is energetic, playful and naughty, such as when he stole Chief's meal in "That's What's Up!".
However, sometimes he tries to be a bad boy, which he usually fails to be so. In fact, he does crack under pressure and spills the truth, like when he can't help but tell Elasti-Girl and Chief about the bad crabs in "Crab Shenanigans".
Analogous to Cyborg, he loves entertainment and products and anything from the 80s as seen in "Brobots". In the same episode, nevertheless, he dislikes people who abuse their credit cards and prefers paying cash.
Although mostly a fun-loving individual, "Brain Flip" displays an amount of his possessiveness on Beast Boy by joining The Doom Patrol on trapping Beast Boy from returning to Jump City.
History[]
In "That's What's Up!", Robot Man along with Negative Girl was first seen stealing Chief's dinner, and was the one who picked up a fight with Chief. He then reunited with Beast Boy whom he called symmetrical. He was the only person who panicked about having a permit before having the clambake being disrupted by the Brain. But in the end the Doom Patrol still prevailed and finally had a fun time after settling with the Brain.
In "Crab Shenanigans", Robot Man, along with Beast Boy and Negative Girl, had been tempted to hang out with the Punk Crabs. He attempted to be a bad boy but continuously failed. Eventually, he couldn't help but ratted himself, Beast Boy and Negative Girl out so that Elasti-Girl and Chief could save them from the crabs. He was then seen being attacked by seagulls.
In "Brobots". Robot Man met Beast Boy's other best friend Cyborg for the first time. Contrary to Beast Boy's concerns, he quickly bonded with Cyborg over their love for the 80s mass media and products, and they subsequently became inseparable. Unfortunately, their friendship soon became toxic and unnatural after Chief fused them, and the only solution for them to get separated was Beast Boy exposing Cyborg's excessive use of credit card, which upset Robot Man and he ended up fighting Cyborg. Although Robot Man and Cyborg weren't as intimate as before after the separation, they still cared for each other, and Robot Man even volunteered to temporarily stay with the three other Titans so that Cyborg could spend more time with Beast Boy.
In "Brain Flip", Robot Man and the rest of the Doom Patrol were surprised and upset regarding Beast Boy's impending departure from them, so they joined Chief's plan on forbidding him from leaving by putting him into the virtual reality after failing to stop him by using a stick to hit his leg. He and the rest of the Doom Patrol tried to put Beast Boy into a virtual reality of the Titan Tower, but this plan backfired after the virtual Titans malfunctioned. Beast Boy appeared to have forgiven them, but it turned out it was Robot Man and the rest of the Doom Patrol's trap to prevent Beast Boy from leaving.
