Sandwich Guardians

Sandwich Guardians are minor enemies in Teen Titans Go! They appeared in the episode "Legendary Sandwich" as protectors of the Legendary Sandwich.

Bio[]

Three of these large monsters serve to protect the ingredients of the life-giving, mystical Legendary Sandwich of Power. One protects the bacon, another guards the tomato, and the third watches over some lettuce. The pretzel bread, which Robin is sent to retrieve, is not guarded by a Sandwich Guardian. It was located in a really annoying supermarket. They appear shortly after the Teen Titans find the treasure chests that hold the ingredients. All three are aggressively defeated by Cyborg, Starfire, and Beast Boy, but not without harming them (ripping off Cyborg's arm, cutting Starfire's hair, and breaking many of Beast Boy's teeth). They are much like automatons, with their only goal being to protect the sandwich's ingredients.

Trivia[]

The Guardians have a strong resemblance to the villain, Cinderblock , but instead have a golden-yellow color and dark red eyes.
Their body parts resemble slices of bread.
They were the first villains to appear in Teen Titans Go!.
They are currently the only minor villains neither Robin or Raven fought.
