Trivia
- Starting with this season, the Titans’ character designs have been tweaked, and the overall color tone turned slightly darker than in the previous four seasons.
- This is the first season:
- To feature an opening logo. This logo features Beast Boy transforming into a couple of animals before transforming into a green DC logo.
- To be succeeded by another season before concluding, as the Season 6 premiere "Butt Atoms" aired before this season reached its 52nd episode conclusion.
- To have all of the Titans doing the same dance in the intro.
- This is the latest season to introduce a character from the original series, with that character being Katarou.
- In terms of airing, Season 5 previously lasted the longest out of every season of the series so far, lasting for 21 months. This would later be surpassed by Season 8 in 2024.
- This and Season 2 are the only seasons without a Christmas-themed episode.
- This is currently the last season of the show to be released on DVD.
