Season 8 was announced on February 14, 2022 (Valentine's Day) during the run of Season 7. It began on October 7, 2022 with "Welcome to Halloween".
After the premiere of "Welcome to Halloween", it would go on a two-month seasonal break lasting throughout the remainder of October and the entire month of November.
Then, after airing "The Great Holiday Escape" on December 9, 2022, it went on another seasonal break until February 6, 2023 with the premiere of "Looking For Love".
Weekly premieres resumed with the two-part episode "Teen Titans Action" on February 20, 2023 (Presidents' Day). After "Easter Annihilation" aired on March 27, 2023, it went on another seasonal break throughout the month of April 2023. Weekly premieres briefly resumed again on May 6, 2023 with the premiere of "The Brain of the Family". After airing "Plot Holes" and "Utility Belt" on May 20, 2023, it went on another seasonal break throughout June and most of July. A week of premieres occurred on July 24-28, 2023, with episodes focusing on Beast Boy and the Doom Patrol. On July 29, 2023, it went on another seasonal break throughout the month of August and most of September, where weekly premieres briefly resumed with the episode "Intro" on September 23, 2023. After "Warner Bros. 100th Anniversary" premiered on October 14, 2023, it would go on another seasonal break until November 18, 2023, where "The Wishbone" aired. After "Christmas Magic" aired on December 2, 2023, the show went on yet another hiatus/seasonal break until March 2, 2024, where weekly premieres resumed with the episode "Ship". The reason for this is likely because of the Writers Guild and SAG-AFTRA strikes that occurred in Spring/Summer of 2023, which severely affected production.
After "Wild Card" aired on March 30, 2024, it would go on yet another seasonal break all the way until October 5, 2024, where weekly premieres returned with "Azarath! Metrion! Bookstore!". After "Four Hundred" premiered on November 30, 2024, it's now on another seasonal break until likely February 2025.

Dancing Animation
Trivia
- This is the first season since Season 5 to premiere its first episode after all 52 episodes of the previous season ended.
- This is the second season to have all the Titans perform the same dance in the title theme, after Season 5.
- The premiere aired 3 weeks after Season 7 (the most recent season) ended making it the longest gap between seasons. Before that the longest gap was only 1 week, for in between Seasons 1 and 2 and the third and fourth seasons.
- This season also marks the return of the show premiering weekly since November/December 2021.
- Starting in the episode "Utility Belt", each of the Titans' voices are slightly deeper than before.
- This is the second season to have two episodes themed around the same holiday within the same season. The first time this happened was in Season 6 with "Witches Brew" and "Ghost With the Most" (both are themed to Halloween), as well as "Beast Boy on a Shelf" and "Christmas Crusaders" (both are themed to Christmas).
- "Warner Bros. 100th Anniversary" was originally set to premiere on September 23, 2023, but was pulled at the last minute and replaced with "Intro" and a rerun of "Utility Belt". It would later premiere on October 14, 2023 after a 3-week delay.
- The reason being is because the designs of the title characters from Ed, Edd N Eddy and Chowder had to be fixed.
- This Season has the longest hiatus/seasonal breaks. One that lasted from December 2, 2023 to March 2, 2024 (90 days total), and one that lasted from March 30 to October 4, 2024 (189 days total).
- In terms of airing, this season is the longest-running one in the show's history, surpassing Season 5.
- Despite "Bookyman" airing as the 400th episode overall, the milestone was not acknowledged/celebrated until the stop-motion special that aired on November 30, 2024.
