This is the first TV Knight episode to be written and directed by a woman.
Early storyboards of the "Logan and Stone Accidente Attorneys" segment features additional footage with appearances from Starfire and Raven that was cut for time. ^[1]
Fourth Wall breaks:
- During her painting segment, Raven breaks the fourth wall by talking to the audience.
- Batman and Commissioner Gordon break the fourth wall by using a tv remote to switch off the audience's tv screen.
During the Batman weekend (19-20 September) on Cartoon Network Asia, the episode premiered earlier than it did the US. Some scenes, however, were censored.

Continuity[]

This is the sixth installment of the TV Knight series.
- The beginning is similar to TV Knight 5, in that Alfred is the one driving the Batmobile.
Raven is seen unhooded for the 116th time in the series.
The supermarket/department store from this episode is the same one from "Black Friday".
Cyborg wears his lawyer suit from "Titans Go Casual", while Beast Boy wears his laywer suit from "Career Day" and "Beast Boy on a Shelf".
Robin's one-sided crush towards Starfire is on display.

"This Thing", from Raven's 'Painting for Fun' segment, is based on a Buer, a spirit that appears in the 16th-century grimoire Pseudomonarchia Daemonum and its derivatives.
Batman is seen playing with homemade Catwoman and Poison Ivy dolls.
Commissioner Gordon pops out of a store bin labelled "Balls For Fun!", a subtle reference to a song lyric from the Unikitty! episode "Music Videos", which Careen Ingle also wrote and directed.
When the Titans hold their funeral for Pocket Robin, the slogan on the side of his shoe box reads "Just Shoe It", with a bat wing tick logo next to it. It is very likely a parody of the Nike shoe brand slogan "Just Do It".
"Tamaranian Bacherlorette" is a direct reference to ABC's The Bachelorette.
- The segment even uses some of the same stock music as the show.
- Both properties feature contestants with the same name, who then must be distinguished by their last initial.
In the changing rooms, Batman dresses up as Woody from Disney/Pixar's Toy Story, and Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
The "Logan and Stone Accidente Attorneys" jingle resembles that of well-known personal injury law firm Cellino and Barnes.
- Stephen Barnes, of Cellino and Barnes, perished in an airplane accident five days prior to this episode's airing.
Raven dresses herself in reference to the famous American painter Bob Ross.
At the end of the Brunch song, Raven and Starfire blast Cyborg using devices resembling the Ghostbusters' proton packs, sending Cyborg to Superman's Phantom Zone.
- The rotating grey circles from Superman II are even present, encircling Cyborg before he is banished.
