"The Night Begins To Shine Two: Chapter One: Mission to Find the Lost Stems" is the first part of the five-part movie special, the 20th episode of the sixth season of Teen Titans Go!, and the two-hundred-eighty-first overall episode of the series.
The elderly Titans decide to take one last trip to the 80s Retro world of Night Begins to Shine only to encounter a new villain ruling the land, Ultralak.
Plot[]
Many years in the future, the elderly Titans are seen walking together looking sad. The reason for their sadness is that the city has bought the land their tower is on, and it's the last they're able to go back to the tower before it's demolished. They remember the good old time and get inside: The windows are clogged with grime, the doors are smashed, and Starfire smells something nasty. Beast Boy apologizes because he's the one who farted. Cyborg retrieve the audio cassette of The Night Begins to Shine, the song of B.E.R.. The others think that a ice cream mark, but Cyborg reminds them that B.E.R. is the name of the rock group founded by Carl Burnett, Frank Enea and William J. Reagan, and the cassette can transport them to the alternate dimension of their young selves. Cyborg suggests they should go back and revisit the dimension. The Titans agree to go back, but they better be back by 3. Cyborg plays the cassette, and they are transported to the Dimension of the Night Shines.
Back in their radical forms, the Titans are riding the radical motorcycle again. While riding, Starfire notices that the mighty Sweet is destroyed, and Cyborg is upset. Suddenly, the ground starts to shake and Baxtory and his tribe appears out of the ground. Baxtory is glad that the Titans have returned. Apparently, everyone in the dimension knows about the heroic's deeds in the past. Cyborg asks what is going on, and Baxtory explains that an evil mastermind named Ultralak came and conquered the world, disbanding B.E.R. and destroying Sweet, ultimately destroying music. Cyborg asks why would anyone outlaw music, and all of a sudden, Ultralak's ship appears behind them. Ultralak claims that silence is power, and that all music must be destroyed. Ultralak wants the Titans to give him the last song there is, which is Cyborg's cassette The Night Begins to Shine. The Titans would never do such thing, and in reponse, Ultralak summons his robot army, which then start attacking the Titans. Raven uses her forcefield to block off the army's attack, but she can't hold much longer. Beast Boy suggests to retreat, but Cyborg insists on defeating Ultralak. Cyborg grabs his motorcycle and mows down Ultralak's army. Cyborg attempts to decapitate Ultralak, but Ultralak is too strong. Ultralak kills Cyborg, and the Titans start mourning. Baxtory gets the Titans to follow him into their base before Ultralak and his army could do any more damage.
Baxtory introduces the Titans to his mine, called The Resistance. Beast Boy notices that The Resistance got a hold of Cyborg's motorcycle, and the Titans instantly turn furious. The Titans tell Baxtory to back off, and they start crying, missing Cyborg already. Robin demands Baxtory how they will take Ultralak down. Baxtory explains to them that B.E.R. made an ultimate song that contained limitless power. Fearing that it may get in hands of evil, they split the song into 3 stems, and hid it across the world. Bringing the 3 stems together will bring back B.E.R. and defeat Ultralak once and for all. Only a member of the band can wield the song's power. Baxtory gives them a relic capable of tracking down the stems, and wishes them good luck.
Suddenly, Ultralak and his army infiltrates the mine. Before Ultralak could do anything, he's knocked out by Cyborg's motorcycle. It turns out that Cyborg transferred his consciousness to his motrocycle before he died, so Cyborg is a motorcycle now. The Titans ride the motorcycle and escape Ultralak. The Titans are extremely happy that Cyborg is back, and they set off to find the lost stems.
When Baxtory and his tribe appear out of the ground for the first time, the music playing in the background is similar to the soundtrack of Tron: Legacy.
Errors[]
The memory of The Night Begins to Shine is supposed to have disappeared in the episode Had to Be There, probably due to the cause of former sixth member Bumblebee.
The Titans appear in their elderly appearances but have their teenage "radical" forms & their normal voices.
Running Gags[]
The old Titans thinking about getting ice cream.
