"Where Exactly on the Globe is Carl Sanpedro? Part 3" is the third episode of the four-part special of the same name. It is the 27th episode of the sixth season of Teen Titans Go!, and the 288th overall episode of the series.
Summary[]
The Titans travel to Chennai, India to stop Carl Sanpedro and learn about the sport of cricket.
Plot[]
The episode opens up where the previous episode left off; Berto informing the Titans that Carl Sanpedro has escaped again. This time, the Titans are tired of guessing where Carl is off to now, so Berto guesses for himself, although he knows the answer. After numerous mentions of countries and repeatedly saying no while imitating Beast Boy and the girls, Berto whacks Robin multiple times with his own staff and finally says that Carl is in Chennai, India.
Robin recovers from his beating and says that it sounds great, but Cyborg disagrees, thinking that nobody has ever head of Chennai. Robin says that this their chance, again, to explore another part of the world, learning new things. Starfire complains that they do not wish to do any more learning and Raven wants to go somewhere cool. Robin says Chennai IS cool, and that it is the home of Chana Masala maker, Vishnu. Beast Boy thinks that this Vishnu person can get a part of Bollywood movies. The Titans get excited by the mere mention of Bollywood, stating how they love the action sequences and romance scenes. Unfortunately, Robin says that Bollywood is based in Mumbai (another city of India), not Chennai, which is a cricket sport city. Beast Boy mistakes this as real cricket insects, and Robin explains that cricket is a sport that involves batsmen. Starfire gets excited, thinking it is Batman, but as usual, Robin corrects him. Starfire gets mad and slaps him in the face, thinking he is making this up. Robin informs that cricket is indeed a popular sport, and that even Chennai's cricket team is playing in the championship match is tonight. Berto shoves Robin to the ground and hands Cyborg another confidential folder, informing that Carl has stolen the Chana Masala dish from the T. Nagar shopping district. Robin gets even more excited and says that this is a good chance to experience cricket, but the Titans are rather interested in Bollywood shenanigans. Robin shrugs them off and the Titans fly to Chennai, India.
They walk among the streets of Chennai, and the Titans compliment their surroundings, thinking that this is the perfect place to shoot a Bollywood scene. Robin gets angry and reminds the Titans that this city is about cricket as Robin shows them vendors selling a bunch of cricket gear. The Titans rush to the cricket gear and use them for different purposes, like mistaking the sun-blocking hat for an Indiana Jones hat, the cricket stumps for vampire-slaying stakes, the bats for pizza spatulas and the gloves for pizza oven mitts. Robin angrily tells them to not get distracted, as they need to focus on finding Carl.
Suddenly, Carl and his goons appear out of nowhere and surround the Titans. Carl, holding the Chana Masala dish, laughs maniacally. The Titans, not listening to Robin, gets into their Bollywood outfits and defeat the goons in Bollywood-esque style, defying physics and logic. The Titans start celebrating after they defeat the goons, but Robin is angry because Carl still got away. Fortunately, Carl dropped a map that leads to the Semmoozhi Poonga Botanical Park.
While exploring the park, the Titans come across a forest, and Robin greatly admires the trees, even rubbing his face against the trunk. Robin informs that the trees are used to make cricket bats, continuing rubbing his cheek against the tree, only to draw unwanted laughter from his friends. After an awkward moment where Robin thinks about dating a tree, it turns out that the others just wants to see him being dumb, much to his annoyance. But then Starfire notices that some of the branches are cut off. Robin assumes that Carl must've stolen them to make cricket bats, which means he will be at the championship match tonight!
The Titans then arrive at the championship stadium, and Robin forces the Titans to put on cricket uniforms to disguise as players during the game, regardless of how they are totally baffled by his cricket explanation. All the Titans but Robin use their cricket uniforms in the wrong way again, and Robin begs them to cut it out, as they are ruining their cover. Suddenly, Carl appears out of nowhere and crushes Robin, laughing with the Chana Masala dish in his hands. He starts running away, and the Titans suggest to lure him back by Bollywood dancing. When the Titans start doing their dance, Robin hesitates at first but joins in shortly after. The dance gets Carl's attention and Carl joins them in the dance! Robin is happy and realizes his mistake for not listening to the Titans about Bollywood culture. They get a hold of Carl and takes off the hat, only to find ANOTHER decoy with a cricket insect as its body (...get it?). Berto appears out of nowhere and informs the Titans that Carl has escaped...again. The Titans groan in response, with Berto continuing to bore them out.
