Zan is a minor character in Teen Titans Go!. He appears in the episode "You're Fired!". He is a member of The Wonder Twins and the former receptionist for the Teen Titans.

Bio

During the auditions in "You're Fired" to find a new Teen Titan after Beast Boy was fired, both him and Jayna tried out and even though Robin, Starfire, Cyborg and Raven only chose Jayna, she told them that she can't transform without Zan so the Titans opened a new position and Zan became their temporary receptionist. Later in that episode, he teams up with Beast Boy in order to get Jayna fired but after spilling the beans about him and Beast Boy, Zan decides to quit and turn into water and live in the ocean. After Beast Boy captured him, both Zan and Jayna leave the Titans and Beast Boy gets his job back.

In Activate, Jayna and Zan came to find the Titans on telling them to save the water reservoir crisis. However, Jayna ended up having to put up with Robin, who could transform due to having drunk her brother. Jayna and Zan then enacted their revenge on Robin after Zan was excreted out of Robin and the water crisis was averted.

Physical Appearance

Zan is an alien humanoid with purple skin and jet black black hair. He wears a pinkish purple suit with a purple belt including a yellow buckle along with his yellow insignia on his chest.

Powers and Abilities

Matter state transformation - Zan has the ability to transform into various forms of water, be it solid, liquid, or gas state. He can also choose the form these states are in, as he can use his ice form to change into a variety of objects.

• Zan and Jayna are very minor heroes, who are originally from Super Friends. They usually appear with their pet monkey, Gleek.
• Zan has a profile on DCUbook, which is a parody of Facebook.
• Running Gag: Zan is thought to have useless powers.
• The idea of Zan's power being useless is based on old fan rumors.
• Ironically, the only member of the Teen Titans who Zan didn't get along with, seemed to be Cyborg (due to him using Zan as a foot soaker) who shares the same voice actor Khary Payton.
• Zan and Jayna claim to need each other to activate their powers, but Zan has turned into water without Jayna. So this may not be the case for him.
